We were awarded two silver and two bronze at the 42nd edition of the Laus Awards in Barcelona on Thursday, July 5th. Sonia Tercero's logo and stationary, along with the Libalis packaging and art direction in illustration for Vintae were the guilty parties, and we are delighted!

In march we taught a children's workshop, "labels and graphic design" in the Dinastia Vivanco Museum. The children created fun and daring designs for a wine, non-alcoholic of course. We shared an unforgettable experience with Marta and Marina. We learned as much as or more than our students.

"El picaro de Matsu" has been selected for the exhibition Desigñ. Spanish accent in design", organized by ENISA (National Enterprise for Innovation) and the Instituto Cervantes. "Desigñ" shows a creative panorama with a special attention given to Spanish design with an international audience. Commissioner Ramón Úbeda, designer and journalist, has also chosen the designs of Celler del Roure (Daniel Nebot), Casa Mariol (Bendita Gloria) and Lascala (Eduardo del Fraile). The show will travel to different venues of the Instituto Cervantes during 2012, don't miss it!

The Art Directors Club of Europe awards excellence in European creativity and among those Spanish designs recognized is our Spanish White Guerrilla. Last December 15th, we received this award in Barcelona along with the Mingarro brothers from Brosmind Studio. While there were no tuxes this time, we still enjoyed ourselves.

The 32nd Edition of AIGA 365: Design Effectiveness has selected our olive oil packaging for Karey and we are very pleased about this news. This represents a very special honor for us, as the AIGA jury evaluates design quality as well as effectiveness. Designs by studios like Pentagram and Sagmeister Inc. have been chosen, and seeing our studio's name next to theirs' is a dream come true for us. What more could we ask for.

On 30 June the awards ceremony was held for the 2011 Laus Prizes, the "Laus Night". And we were there, too, picking up our "five" prizes: 1 Silver and 4 Bronzes. Congratulations to Vintae, Alex García and Jordi Colldeform.

We cant stay still. It is barely three years since we created Moruba and with it, its image. But the body needed a slight makeover. So we set out to distill, once more, and our new stationery has appeared. The star of the range, the new business card. Helvetica 65 medium, Skin Courius Black 380 gr. and matt white printing, a pleasure both to see and to feel. Ask us for one when you see us.
