"El picaro de Matsu" has been selected for the exhibition “Desigñ. Spanish accent in design", organized by ENISA (National Enterprise for Innovation) and the Instituto Cervantes. "Desigñ" shows a creative panorama with a special attention given to Spanish design with an international audience. Commissioner Ramón Úbeda, designer and journalist, has also chosen the designs of Celler del Roure (Daniel Nebot), Casa Mariol (Bendita Gloria) and Lascala (Eduardo del Fraile). The show will travel to different venues of the Instituto Cervantes during 2012, don´t miss it!
"El picaro de Matsu" ha sido seleccionado para la exposición "Desigñ. Spanish accent in design" organizada por ENISA y el Instituto Cervantes. "Desigñ" es una panorámica de la creatividad que tiene acento español con proyección internacional. El comisario Ramón Úbeda, diseñador y periodista, ha seleccionado también los diseños de Celler del Roure (Daniel Nebot), Casa Mariol (Bendita Gloria) y Lascala (Eduardo del Fraile). La exposición itinerará durante el 2012 por las diferentes sedes del Instituto Cervantes, no os la perdáis.

The Art Directors Club of Europe awards excellence in European creativity and among those Spanish designs recognized is our “Spanish White Guerrilla”. Las December 15th, we received this award in Barcelona along with the Mingarro brothers from Brosmind Studio. While there were no tuxes this time, we still enjoyed ourselves.
El Art Directors Club of Europe premia la excelencia creativa europea y entre los trabajos españoles galardonados esta nuestra "Spanish White Guerrilla". El pasado 15 de diciembre estuvimos en Barcelona recogiendo el diploma junto a los hermanos Mingarro de Borsmind Studio. Esta vez no hubo "pajaritas" pero lo pasamos igual de bien.
AIGA 365

The 32nd Edition of “AIGA 365: Design Effectiveness” has selected our olive oil packaging for Karey and we are very pleased about this news. This represents a very special honor for us, as the AIGA jury evaluates design quality as well as effectiveness. Designs by studios like Pentagram and Sagmeister Inc. have been chosen, and seeing our studio´s name next to theirs´ is a dream come true for us. What more could we ask for.
La 32 edición de los "AIGA 365: Design Efectiviness" ha seleccionado nuestro packaging de aceite de oliva para Karey y estamos felices por ello. Para nosotros es un reconocimiento muy especial, ya que el jurado de los AIGA valora tanto la calidad del diseño como su efectividad. Pentagram o Sagmeister Inc. son algunos de los estudios con trabajos seleccionados y para nosotros ver el nombre de nuestro estudio al lado de los suyos es un sueño hecho realidad. Que más se puede pedir.
Laus 2011 Awards

On 30 June the awards ceremony was held for the 2011 Laus Prizes, the "Laus Night". And we were there, too, picking up our "five" prizes: 1 Silver and 4 Bronzes. Congratulations to Vintae, Alex García and Jordi Colldeform.
El pasado 30 de junio tuvo lugar la ceremonia de entrega de los Premios Laus 2011, la Nit Laus. Y allí estuvimos, recogiendo nuestros "cinco" premios, 1 Plata y 4 Bronces. Enhorabuena a Vintae, Karey, Alex García y Jordi Colldeform.
New identity

We can’t stay still. It is barely three years since we created Moruba and with it, its image. But the body needed a slight makeover. So we set out to distill, once more, and our new stationery has appeared. The star of the range, the new business card. Helvetica 65 medium, Skin Courius Black 380 gr. and matt white printing, a pleasure both to see and to feel. Ask us for one when you see us.
No podemos parar quietos. Hace apenas tres años que nació Moruba y con ella su identidad, pero el cuerpo nos pedía hacerle un ligero retoque. Así que nos pusimos a destilar, una vez más, y nació nuestra nueva papelería. La pieza estrella, la tarjeta. Helvética 65 medium, Skin Courius Black 380 gr. y estampación blanca mate, un placer para la vista y el tacto. Pídenosla cuando nos veas.

What better way to launch this section than with this news. We have won a FAB Award for the "Spanish White Guerrilla" wine collection. A perfect excuse to go off to London and collect it from our good friends at Brosmind. A huge moment immortalised in this picture.
